Ustka: 18-thousandths town in northern Poland, in Pomerania region, in the district of Slupsk, at the mouth of the river Słupia river to the Baltic Sea. It is a port city and a spa, with two sea bathing. From 13 July 2003, the 2 towns - Ustka and Slupsk are bound with special cooperation agreement. Both cities are connected by rail and bus transport.
Ustka climate is characterized with medicinal properties, which supports the treatment of orthopaedic trauma, nervous system diseases, rheumatic diseases, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension and diseases of the upper respiratory tract.
In the town of Ustka, there are two sea swimming areas: (1) Ustka East - including the 500 m long coastline towards the east; (2) Ustka West - including the 200 m long coastline towards west. Swimming areas meet the mandatory requirements for the quality of the bathing water of the European Union and in the summer they are guarded by lifeguards from WOPR.
